It all started when…
I studied abroad in London, UK in the Fall of 2013. I went to Brick Lane and stumbled across tons of street art, murals, and graffiti. I fell in love. When I came back home to Baltimore, I told my friend about my new found love and she recommended I check out Graffiti Alley and local street artist Nether. I started to notice all the art around town, one of the first streets I vividly remember finding street art was Greenmount Avenue in East Baltimore.
The street art hunt in Baltimore City was on! I spent around a year taking photos and documenting the locations and artists names before created the @BaltiMurals Instagram page. I wanted to share the art I found throughout my hometown, as well as bring awareness to certain areas in Baltimore and create bonds between communities. I strive to show the positive aspects of Baltimore as well as raise the city up and never bring it down. I hope I can inspire you to do the same.
I have been featured in the Baltimore Sun and on WJZ-13 news and participated in a speaker series at Goucher College.
Besides "Street Art Hunting" I also enjoy rap music, my dogs, computers, reading, traveling, hanging with my family and friends, driving, and being outside. I currently live in Baltimore City and work at a Web Design company.
